Finding the title/number of previous year

Hey guys

This should be one of the simplest things to do yet I cant seem to find anyone asking this question or anyone guiding within this issue.

I literally only need to print out the title of last/previous year. So fx 2019 when we are in 2020, and 2020 when we are in 2021.

I tried this DAX_measure but it wont work as intended:

MeasurePrevious = FORMAT(YEAR(TODAY()-1, "YYYY"))

To find the current year i just say:
MeasureCurrent = Year(Today())

- There should be some easy way to do this simple thing?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try this one:

Measure = YEAR(TODAY()) - 1
