Filtering one value not other in same visual with the help of slicer

Hi all,

One visual has line and bar values. There is one slicer.

Is it possible in Power BI that when I change the slicer value, bar values remains constant while line value gets changed.

Please let me knoe if there is any such kind of solution possible.

Thanks in advance!!

Mate, with a correct design everything is possible. That should go without saying.

The easier way to do this is to create a measure for the bars that is insensitive to the selections in the slicer. There might be other options but all depends on how your model is built and what relationships there are in there.

To be clear, like @Anonymous said, you may define measures,
MeasureofLine = Calculate( Sum( 'LineTable'[Column]) )
MeasureofBar = Calculate( Sum( 'BarTable'[Column]), ALL( 'SlicerTable' ) )

-- or depend on your dashboard design you may use ALL( 'SlicerTable'[SlicerColumn] )

-- it will be good to have look at ALLSELECTED and ALLEXCEPT
