Hi all
I have a measure giving me the profit margin of all course intakes (when grouped together). The intakes are listed in a column called Intakes. There are about 144 and increases if new course intakes are added. I add the measure to a visual, along with the years and months but when I add the Intakes, I don't get individual profit margins for each intake, it still adds up the total profit margin. How do I get this to work? I need to see the profit margin per intake. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. I am just getting started with DAX.
This image is what is looks like:
Hope this makes sense.
Thank you.
Karen
@Anonymous , is your data model working on the intake date or some other date. Ideally for profit margin based on instake date intake date should also join to date table. If there is more than one date and join is inactive, you can use userelationship in the measure
If this does not help
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
Thanks @amitchandak. I don't think that is it as I do have the date table joined to the intake booking date in my model.
Sure will. I won't be able to get to that until later tonight so will post some then. Thanks @amitchandak
