Filter on a different date range for two seperate measures

I have created a dataset in Power BI (based on SQL server import mode) and want to be able to create a matrix that shows me values from two different tables.  Both of the tables are linked to a date table.

Table 1 (Amount, Date)

Table 2 (Amount Date)

On the same matrix I want to be able to show both the amount for table 1 and table 2 based on a different date range for each filter.   Please could someone let me know the best way to do this.  If I drag on the filter from the date entity and use this it will filter the same dates.

@Anonymous , if you need the same date range. You can have a common date table and use that table to filter. if you want different date ranges, then take date slicer one from each table(Date from Tables) and use it

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
