Good morning, trying to figure out a problem and understand why its happening to begin with. I created a dynamic table that calls 5 different measures and I want the heading for the column to be the mm-dd of last week. I have a filter on the visual to filter based on call date last week. The problem that I am having is the FIRSTDATE(FactCalls[Call Date]) is returning the 1st value in the table and ignoring the filter. So trying to determine A) why is the measure ignoring the visual level filter and B) how do I get it to recognise the filter on Call Date ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @lhall_csi
My sample:
Based on my testing, I've come to the conclusion that FIRSTDATE gets the first date in the data table,
and that Filters on this visual affects the visualization, the "relative date" returns the date associated with today's date.
I can't reproduce your data to better troubleshoot the problem, to better help you, can you share the sample data and your expected results? How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum - Microsoft Fabric Community
Or show it as a screenshot or pbix. Please remove any sensitive data in advance. If uploading pbix files please do not log into your account.
Best Regards,
Yulia Xu
