Disabling AutoDate time and using DateTable with DAX

Hi guys,

I am trying to optimize a model by removing the AutoDate time intelligence feature, however when I do some of my report visuals break.

I have a Date table already and I have tried marking it as a Date Table and using DAX to mimic the date hierachy that AutoDate time creates automatically and neither of these are working - the visuals still seems to be referencing fields that do not exist.

Any hints or ideas on how to switch your report from AutoDate time to using a Date Table while maintaining the date functionalities already used in the report?

All help is appreciated!

@Anonymous , if you switch off auto datetime, You will lose hierarchy. But you also will also lose.Date , .day options. So if you have used that will create an error

You should be able to see all such columns and measures with error triangle

Exactly, however, there must be a way to create your own hierachy and functionalities which mimic AutoDate time intelligence so that then your visuals do not to break. Maybe this is not possible, but technically these should be because its more or less the same thing I just cant get it to work. Do you know of a manual way to do this?
