DirectQuery data from mariadb permission error

I tried to create a calculated column in direct query mode to mariadb with the following code

StartDate = workprogram[MonthName]&"-"&workprogram[Year].

There are no errors with calculated column, but when I try to display it in the card visualization. Then, an error like this appears.

has anyone experienced it? how to fix this

I am also facing the MariaDB pemission issue but I need the long text data from database. Please provide an alternate solution for the same.
