Hi Team,
Anyone know which function in Powerbi is similar to "Over function in spotfire" ? in power bi which is the similar function or dax for this (Max(RowId()) OVER ([SFU_MATL_ID],[FPC_ID],[FY_MTH_ID]). Could u please help on this dax
@Anonymous , as long as you want display these three in UI [SFU_MATL_ID],[FPC_ID],[FY_MTH_ID] (column) , max(Table[RowID]) will do
else max of max
maxx(summarize(Table, [SFU_MATL_ID],[FPC_ID],[FY_MTH_ID], "_1", max(Table[RowID])),[_1])
Hi Amit,
in Spot fire reports they are using this calculation (Max(RowId()) OVER ([SFU_MATL_ID],[FPC_ID],[FY_MTH_ID]
but i need dax in power bi, how can i write dax for above calculation in power bi? could you please provide dax for above calculation in power bi..im not using above calculation in UI level but using in power bi dax
or
spotfire calculation: If(Max(RowId()) OVER ([SFU_MATL_ID],[FPC_ID],[FY_MTH_ID])=RowId(),
Max([MRP_AVAIL_USD_AMT]) OVER ([SFU_MATL_ID],[FPC_ID],[FY_MTH_ID]),
null)
required dax in power bi...
@Anonymous , if rowid in the incremental column given by sport fire then add index column in power query else use rowid (if it is column)
Try a new column DAX: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45715963/creating-an-index-column-for-power-bi
if( [index] = maxx(filter(Table, [SFU_MATL_ID] = max([SFU_MATL_ID]) && [FY_MTH_ID] =max([FY_MTH_ID]) && [FPC_ID] =max(FPC_ID) ), [index]) ,Max([MRP_AVAIL_USD_AMT]),blank())
