Dates Between Start Of the Year uptill selected date.

how to find dates between start of the year up till selected date dax

For E.g. If i choose todays date  (20th May 2021) then it should go back start of the year called(1st jan 2021) and give me output uptill selected date. (I.e. 1st Jan 2021 Uptill 20th May 2021).

In result output the Month Name has been used.

Like (JAN till May).

@Anonymous , That is ytd, you can use datesytd with a date table

YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"12/31"))

So can i use that as slicer because when ever I am trying to close any date in one of the builded application then it's automatically giving me the output from the start of month uptill selected date month.
