Dateinperiod issue

Dear all ，

I would like to show the last 12 months in a slicer. 

So, I am using datesinperiod() to create rolling 12 months dates .But I get the error message . 

And ,Is the method suitable for this scenario?

I believe for you to do this, you must use a date column with DISTINCT dates (no duplicates).  Try using the date column from the 'Date' table instead.
