DAX to get measure logic for totals

I'm using DAX to query a Analysis Services Cube that has particular logic for it's total measure, for example if I pivot in Excel by "Field" the Total Value will be "deduped" using some logic

Field, Value

Type A, $10000

Type B, $5000

Grand Total: $8000

How can I bring in that Total into my DAX to extract it as a flat table?
