DAX measure for count of rows in previous month

Hi All,

I need a DAX measure to count the rows for previous month hires please. I have a report and date table with relationship and I have 1st measure: 

Hires in Month = COUNT('ABCD2021'[Month Hires]) which calculates the hires in month but I need a 2nd measure to go back a month? Help! Thanks 🙂
