DAX expression for comparing difference between latest month to last years average

Hi community,

First time poster here.

So I'm looking for some help on the following matter:

I need present a KPI card showcasing the difference between (in percentage,%) the average of last year and last month. The data concerns cost of outgoing invoices to the organisation, meaning how much their billing costs the organisation.

Example: I need to present difference between the average of 2019 to March 2020.

Thanks for the help!

The answer will depend on the data. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

Thanks for the instructions Greg.

I'll try to make more clear.

Here a screenshot of the data. Annotation 2020-04-13 171208.jpg

So I need to compare the latest value from YTD OTC cost/outgoing invoice column to average from last year. The average of last year is the value for last month of the year, so e.g. for 2019 its's 0,76.

Hopefully this clarifies my taks.

Thanks.
