DAX/Vertipaq insights

Hi Community,
Having a lot expirience in using DAX but I lack a more deeper understanding of the underlying engine.
Just an example:
Shall I use Crossjoin or nested sumx?

I Do Not want to have an answer for this specific question. I am looking for books/Videos to solve this question myself. Any Suggestion?
Thanks a lot and stay healthy!
Holger

Sorry, after posting the last reply and mention "daxstudio" and "queryplan" I googled for specific documentation - and found this docs:

I think this is what I was looking for. Sorry - google was my friend 🙂

Did I answer your question? Mark my post as a solution! Appreciate with a Kudos!!

Hi Harsh Nathani,

thank you for your answer. I know all that stuff - it is more about how to keep your dataset small.

But when it comes to "which one is faster: crossjoin ort nested sumx" this is not a help for me 😞

Any other suggestions? I think the query plan of daxstudio is probably the right way - but I do not understand anything when I look at the query plan...

Thanks

Holger
