Hello there,
I want to create a custom table as shown below, but I can't get the value I filtered from the table using "selectedvalue." "SELECTEDVALUE" works in a measure, but I can't use it when creating a column or table, and it returns a blank value. How can I handle this?
Thanks for your help.
Table =
VAR A=
CALCULATE(MIN('odscs vw_cs_master'[company_id]),FILTER('odscs vw_cs_master','odscs vw_cs_master'[company_id]=SELECTEDVALUE('odscs vw_cs_master'[company_id])))
RETURN
CALCULATETABLE(
'odscs vw_cs_master',
'odscs vw_cs_master'[company_id]=A
)

Hello @Anonymous ,
Tables and Calculated Tables are only generated on refresh time.
For that reason, they can never "catch" the value of a selection from a visual, slicer, filter, etc. even with the usage of formulas like SELECTEDVALUE().
You can see more information in the Microsoft Learn : Create calculated tables in Power BI Desktop .
Hope this answer solves your problem!
If you need any additional help please @ me in your reply.
