DAX Calculating Production by State

Hello,

I'm new to the community, and just beginning to learn Power BI.  I have 5 years of experience with Tableau, and the crossover is more than I expected.

I am trying to add up some numbers and then compare them to another number.

I was able to do it in table by creating the dax: total production = sum('A'[production])+sum('B'[production])+sum('C'[production])

This is the whole table. I then want to compare the production circled in red to the total production circled in black.

But when I use the same measure on a bar graph I am getting an aggregated total for each.

As you can see AK is at 186.6K whereas total production is at 180.5K, but in the bar chart annual production looks like it doesn't even make up 0.1% compared to total production, when it should be more like 103%

To give you a little background, I have four tables, and they are all joined by state.

Appreciate the help.  Thank you.

provide some sample data in usable format (ie not a picture), make sure to include the year column, show the current outcome and the expected outcome.
