Customer Churn Analysis

Hi All,

I have a file of transaction data that spans multiple years, I am looking to identify new customers, current customers, returning customers and the quantity of product they are buying and identify lost customers that might require some attention to get back.

The data file includes columns for transaction date, customer name/code, product bought and quantity bought. I am new to power bi and have no experience in DAX or data manipulation using the programme.

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Thank you.

I have all of that in my book DAX Cookbook, there is an entire chapter on customer KPI's. This will probably get you started though:
