Current Month should have any left over item count

Hello,

Need your help, seems easy but cant find a way to make it.

I have a scenario as show below in the table:

I need to write a DAX expression to show all the leftover values till next month in the current month cell.

I have a connection with Date table and written measure to calculate item count. If I just use that measure output shows as highlighted with Red color but I want to see as Green row.

Any ideas.

@Anonymous , what is the logic for 18, if Jan is the last three months, why not Feb and March

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
