Hello,
Having difficulty making my cumulative total dynamic. In other words, my filters which are based on various categories in my data model are not working. These filters are working fine for my regular (not cumulative) totals.
Below is the syntax:
How can I ammend this syntax to get the cumulative totals to respond to my filters.
Thank you!
HI @arcanri
Just out of curiosity, what is the definition for [Actual Volume]?

I meant the DAX for [Actual Volume].
Ideally, it would be a simple sum.
A simple sum: Calculate(sum(Volume_net)), ...
Hi,
I am not sure how your semantic model looks like, but please try something like below whether it works.
Cumulative Volumes =
CALCULATE (
[Actual Volume],
FILTER (
ALL ( 'Flux Capacitor'[Date] ),
'Flux Capacitor'[Date]
<= MAX ( 'Flux Capacitor'[Date] )
)
)

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

If that isn't it, Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
