Create a new table with data from two existing table

i have  two table in the report.The new table will contain the data from table1 and table 2.

The first two column in the new table will be same as the date and c1 from the table.The second column in the new table will be the value from the table2 column1.For the same date it will picked the same value from the table2.Then it will repeat for the missing date until it encounter the same date again.It seem to repeated the same value twice till the next same date. If the date value is missing in the table2 , then it repeat the most recent value.Attaching the screenshot of tables and data.

Do a left join on the date, and then use FillDown to close the gaps in the cl column.

let
    Source = Table.NestedJoin(Table1, {"Date"}, Table2, {"Date"}, "Table2", JoinKind.LeftOuter),
    #"Expanded Table2" = Table.ExpandTableColumn(Source, "Table2", {"cl"}, {"cl"}),
    #"Filled Down" = Table.FillDown(#"Expanded Table2",{"cl"})
in
    #"Filled Down"
