Hi
Looking for some help with conditional formatting (icons) when using calculation groups and multiple measures.
My model:
FactKPIs: DayID, Product, VarA--VarE
DimCalendar: DayID. Fact KPIs linked by DayID
DimProduct: Product to Name. Fact KPIs linked by Product
DimDates: WeekendID - used in a slicer to select a week and used in time intelligence calcs, disconnected table
SlicerWeeks: Weeks (1-52) - used in a slicer to select number of weeks and used in time intelligence calcs, disconnected table
I have a measures table. VarA -- VarE which are the sums of the Vars from the Fact table. Plus another measure Dummy (Dummy = BLANK())
I also have two calculation groups:
CalculationGroupTIStatic - This Year, Last Year and YoY calculations
CalculationGroupMeasures - VarA--VarE in a calculation group
I create a matrix:
Row: ProductName
Columns: CalculationGroupTIStatic & CalculationGroupMeasures
Values: Dummy
It's at this point i hit a brick wall on how to apply conditional formatting to the YoY values only to generate icons (e.g <0%;0%;>0%)
Similarly i've created a 2nd matrix
Row: ProductName
Columns: CalculationGroupTIStatic
Values: VarA--VarE
Also at this point stuck how to apply a conditional formatting to the YoY values whilst only creating a single conditional formatting measure (as in the real world example can have significantly more than 5 vars)
I've read pretty much read all the literature associated with the problem and can't find a solution that fits the above.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
