Hi, I am looking to use DAX formula to help with conditional formatting for columns containing text values. The table below is the data I am looking to format.
Color | Supply | Price | Market Dynamic |
Red | Allocation | Increase | Exit Market |
Yellow | L/T Increase | Flat | Consolidation |
Green | No Constraints | Decrease | Stable |
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Best Regards
Hi @Kylemcintyre17 ,
On what value you want to apply conditional formatting?
You will have to define a measure or column based on which you can achieve this.
Refer following for the details:
https://exceleratorbi.com.au/conditional-formatting-with-a-text-field-in-power-bi/
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-conditional-table-formatting
If this helps and resolves the issue, appreciate a Kudos and mark it as a Solution! 🙂
Thanks,
Pragati
Check out this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-conditional-table-formatting#color-based-on-a-calc...
You can define a measure to return the HEX or Color name, then use that in the conditional formatting view.
