Hi!
I am trying to create 2 (different) DAX measures to change the color of a cell depending on the values in other columns. I am combining 2 questions in to one post because they are similar, and will hopefully figure out both!
Color Change Question 1:
I have two columns: Step 50 Planned Completion Date & Step 50 Actual Completion Date
I would like to change the color of the cells in the Actual Completion Date column based off the following criteria (I tried basic conditional formatting but was unable to figure it out, and do not know DAX very well):
- If the date listed in Planned Completion Date has passed, and the cell in Actual Completion Date is blank, Then change cell background color in Actual Completion Date column to RED
Is it possible to write this DAX formula? I know I can conditionally format the Actual column by a field value (the DAX measure) I just don't know how to write it! 🙂
Color Change Question 2:
I have 2 more columns:
- Category: There are 3 options for Category:
- Code: There are many options for Code:
- Product1_Code1
- Product1_Code2
- Product1_Code3
- Prod2_Code1
- Prod2_Code2
- Prod2_Code3
- etc
I would like to change the color of certain cells (background color) in the Category column based on the following criteria:
- Category is Finished Goods
- All Product1 codes are BLUE
- All Product2 codes are PURPLE
- All Product3 codes are GREEN
I hope this isn't too confusing, and I appreciat any help!
