I would like to comare dynamically sum of selected value from column1 (A8) when A8 is selected with total sum of column2 based on the grouping from column3 (red) but to get only the sum for red. If user selects A4 then comparing sum should be only sum of column2 for all green.
Thanks a lot for your support.

// Let your table be called T.
// base measure
[Total] = sum( T[Column2] )
// This measure should also work correctly
// if you select many different values
// from Column1 (meaning it aggregates
// correctly)
[Total-2-Compare] =
CALCULATE(
[Total],
DISTINCT( T[Column3 ] ),
REMOVEFILTERS( T )
)

I think you are missing the closing parenthesis at DISTINCT( T[Column3 ... however you solution works perfectly. Many many thanks
