Compare a value of selected month with the value of value on 31/12/.... of the previous year

How about something like this?

Diff =
VAR _CurrDate = MAX ( DateTable[Date] )
VAR _PrevYearEnd = DATE ( YEAR ( _CurrDate ) - 1, 12, 31 )
RETURN
    SUM ( Table1[Amount] )
        - CALCULATE ( SUM ( Table1[Amount] ), DateTable[Date] = _PrevYearEnd )
