If anyone has an idea about how to do this I would really appreciate some guidance...
MY Company uses fiscal periods that are 28 days long and thirteen of these are in a fiscal year. sometimes we play catchup and have 35 days in the last period.
My primary dataset has dates when revenue was made. I also have a "Calendar" table which states which Fiscal Year and Fiscal Period any date belongs in. Importantly it also indicates if any date is in the past 13 periods or the prior 13 before that.
How might I create a chart that had the prior thirteen period sales, superimposed on the thirteen before it?
None of the seeded functions can be used here, because there isnt a good relationship between the Fiscal and Calendar years.
Any thoughts?
