I am trying to create calendar visual or two date slicers for date parameter.
Right now I have it in form of list using slicer visual
I wanted to change it to calender visual.
I have created ReadingStartDate and EndDateTables using direct query
That means I cannot make any changes to these tables in Power query
And then bind parameters to them
Can Calendar visual be displayed instead of dropdown on report page? using direct queries.
OR can slicers be created
In this I need to disable after in 1st slicer and before in 2nd slicer but cannot see after or before option in dropdown for slicer , might be because it’s a direct query and not import query

Hi there.
If there is a calendar visual (I don't think it comes as standard with PBI), then I can't see a reason why DQ woludn't allow you to pull data out of a SQL table to populate it... After all, it's just a visual. Have you tried it yet?
I imported this visual from More visuals--> AppSource
As soon as i change it to calender visual i see this
OR slicers be created
In this I need to disable after in 1st slicer and before in 2nd slicer because i need two dates(readingstartdate and readingenddate)
but cannot see after or before option in dropdown for slicer , might be because it’s a direct query and not import
