Calculation of table a x table b = table c in PowerBI => Is this possible?

Hello Darek ( @Anonymous ),

I am creating a huge database for the calculation of various business development scenarios. What I have is one table (a, left side) with absolute actual values 2012-2018. And I have another table (b, right side), which contains the plannned growth rates. Those two tables are linked by an unique key. What I would like to do is the following:

In a third table (c), I would now like to multiply for example the actual value 2018 (from a) with the growthrate for 2019 (from b) in order to get the absolute value for 2019 => (a) x (1+(b)) = (c).

Is such a calculation possible in PowerBI? If yes: how?? 🙂

Your feedback is highly appreciated!

Regards,
Sabine

By the way, where is the year in both tables? Not sure if the screenshot above is enough to answer your question, though. It depends on your answer to my question.

Thank you so much for your quick answer!

The year is in the column "period(s)".

I've not yet seen a thing that would not be possible in PBI, so this is possible as well.

I'll have a look at this as soon as possible.
