Calculating the time between dimensions using measures

I want to get two date measures ( DD/MM/YYYY) , subtract one from the other to create a custom date difference dimension I can use in a graph.

I also want to bring in another dimension for sales volume and graph sales volume against the custom date difference dimension I just created.

How can I do this please?
