I looked through older posts but I can't seem to find my specific issue - I've tried a couple of things and it's not working. I have a table that holds a monthly scrum team cost - and I have another table that holds the story points which I have created a key measure (thanks to the help of Super Users in this community). Now I need to take that measure and which is an allocation % that can be sliced by Project categories to give me the total cost which is easy - allocation % * team monthly rate But nothing I do works - it gives me a huge number as if for every line in the main table it takes the team rate and sums it up producing way higher costs. The picture is of the data model. Allocation is a measure that is calculated from the story points in the Scrum Team Issues by Month table. I have a Scrum team dim table that only holds the monthly team rate by a key to the Scrum Team Issues by Month table. So each key has a cost (which is monthly) so it is a 1 to many relationship.

I created calculated fields to get this report completed. I am not sure that was the best approach but it's working.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Trying to understand your request. Are you trying to create a measure, or add a calculated column. Would you give us a mock up of what you would like to see. [New Measure] =Allocation % * Team Monthly Rate? Show us what you have tried as well.
Thanks,
Nathaniel
