Calculate Previous Fiscal Year

Hi Guys,

i have to calculate a measure for previous fiscal year and all i have is a column named "FY" which contains data like this.

Please help me out.

You can do it two ways:

First I will add a calculated column for the Previous Fiscal Year which you can then use for the calculated measure

The second option is to get the current Fiscal Year F17 and parse the year number out and subtract or add accordingly.

example

Calculated measure =

var _CurrentFiscalYear = max(calendar[Fiscal  Year])

var _PreviousFiscalYear = "FY" & (right(_CurrentFiscalYear,2)-1)

return calculate(sum(dax expression), Calendar[Fiscal Year] = _PreviousFiscalYear )
