Hi,
Sorry, deleted my previous post, re-typing my issue again, hopefully clearer.
I am trying to create a chart visualisation that shows the Average ARPDAU based on my filter selection.
My dataset contains Date, Application, Affiliate, Country, Revenue and Active Users.
I created a measure that does the ARPDAU calculation perfectly fine (Sum Revenue / Sum Active Users). This works fine and I can see my ARPDAU per Date for any given selection.
What I am now trying to create is a single column chart that shows one bar per Game. I want the column value to reflect the Average ARPDAU for the selected Date period, Application, Affiliate and Country. I created a Quick Measure with the following settings: Average Per Category, where Base Value is my ARPDAU measure and Category is Application. I would expect this to calculate the Average ARPDAU per Category for my selected filter values. While it does land relatively close, it seems to take the Sum Spend for the whole period / Sum Active Users for the whole period. I want it to consider the ARPDAU for each date and give me the average with date in mind.
E.g.
1 Jan) Spend 10,000, Users 500, ARPDAU 20.00000
2 Jan) Spend, 8,000, Users 600, ARPDAU 13.33333
3 Jan) Spend 13,000, Users 550, ARPDAU 23,63636
The average of the above should be 18.98989
Instead I get 18.787878 (31,000 / 1,650).
How can I change this?
