I am still getting my head wrapped around measures, but if I undersnad correctly, if you have a calendar table linked to a fact table (Contains a date, and a number), you can create a table visual with at the calendar table date and the number column from the fact table (Say Lbs produced), then selections made in the date slicer (again, pointed to the Calendar table), the table visual will show the matching data.
Also, you can make a measure that will sum the value of the number column based on the displayed rows in the table visual.
I have succeeded in the first, the second, a meaure:
I am after a measure that will show the sum at the bottom: 7048129.44
I know it's something dumb. Please enlighten me.
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous ,
I made simple samples and you can check the results below. You can try to put your measure into a card visual or you can use the following expression:
Measure 2 = SUMX(ALLSELECTED('Table'),[Value])
An attachment for your reference. Hope it helps!
