Hi all,
First (of many probbaly) questions after starting my Power BI journey so please excuse any formatting issues.
My table contains a list of payments received each month and how the payment was made. I would like to calculate the average volume over a given period (defined by slicer).
Ive been struggling find a measure that calculates the average volume based on a text value...can anyone offer any guidance?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the response
Unfortanutely the measure returns the same value as the count?
Hi @Ade108 ,
What's your expected result? For example: On Nov 22, the correct average value should be 14.2 (426 divide by 30 (the days of Novemeber))? Could you please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
