Dear members,
I was trying to do automatic filtering for both tables/visuals at the sametime to view quarter 2 data of 2020 on the left visual and at the sametime view quarter 2 data of 2021 on the right visual as per attached screenshot for your reference. Both visuals are from the portfolio table that is connected to the date table as MANY TO ONE relationship. I did insert the slicers to view both quarter and year so I see this year and previous year data upon quarter number, but the numbers are not correct I tried many ways but didn't work. Do I have to use a dax formula or not if yes what that would be ??
NOTE: please maximize the screenshot so you can see better.
thanks in advance
@tameismael Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882
Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
