AVERAGE DAX function do not work as expected

Hi Experts,

I observed a weird thing about AVERAGE or SUM DAX function.
When I am creating a CARD and then inserting the field directly from the data model hierarchy and choosing SUM or AVERAGE, it works perfectly fine.

138 is correct average.

However when I simply calculate using DAX code

Can you kindly point out where am I going wrong with the DAX formula?

Thanks,
Rohit

@amitchandak , won't be able to share the data due to confidentiality reasons.
However, I did copy the table contents in an excel sheet and connected it with a fresh new PBI file.
The AVERAGE measure and the AVERAGE by field mapping worked fine and are the same for the same filter conditions.

I will create a fresh file instead.

@Anonymous , this should happen without a filter.

Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
