Dear PowerBI Heads,
I am currently working on a waterfall chart that will show me my losses for each day when I use a slicer.
For this I have created an Excel table and filled it with the corresponding data. Load this table up, create the waterfall and it will show me data for one day.
However, the integration and the selection of an appropriate date within PowerBI does not work.
As i said, I have currently only managed to find a solution for a specific day.
I would like to have a solution where I set the slicer to any date or another specific date and the waterfall chart shows me the corresponding data. I have uploaded my basic data here so that you can understand it.
Maybe one of you has a solution, how I arrange the data in the Excel file so that I get a date reference here.
I hope one of you experts can help me with this topic.
Thank you in advance!

Excel sheet with data (only data is shown in Waterfall)
Hi @Christus_CN
If my understanding is correct then you want to you want waterfall chart at the date level. So if select any specific date waterfall chart should come.
Here is my solution that i have done.
Data which i have took
Once you load data in power bi follow these steps
1. this should be your landing page in power query editor
2. then select the column you want to unpivot or vice versa if you have n number of date
like this
select that option
and your data should look like this
3. Close and apply that
4. Create water fall chart and slcier for date
it should look like this
Just one point to note that you should make slicer as single select that would be best possible way to represnet multiple select would not be correct.
If it does not help, please provide more details with your desired output and pbix file without privacy information (or some sample data) .
