Using alias in R Custom Visuals

Hi

I'm learning how to create custom visuals using r. I'm wondering how I can get the renamed name or alias of the measure/column. Currently I'm only getting the original name.

I'm using this code in R:

columnNames = colnames(Measures)

FYI my data role is: 

"dataRoles": [

    {

      "displayName": "Measures",

      "kind": "Measure",

      "name": "Measures"

    }

]
