@giammariam Good morning,
I have very complex requests from a team.
They need to have their hands on functionalities that do not exist in Power BI but unfortunately which exist in the application they use today: spotfire.
They are in read on online service.
This is very disabling because the existing functionalities can seem complex for Power BI users. Apart from them, they have this natively in Spotfire.
This is very damaging for this magnificent tool that is Power BI. Not to offer this kind of module natively. and not having features like this pushed too.
I therefore hope that with Deneb we will be able to make up for this delay a little by offering a similar module.
On any type of graph: point, box plot, double blox plot.
We should be able to have a window that opens or closes with different modules or just different modules that allow:
1. Being able to enlarge or shrink the visuals. (we have already done this on other graphs).
2. To be able to add an analysis data which will create several different points according to this data (if we are on a point graph) or several box plots etc. for this data. and automatically add a data label to this data. A bit like the legend on Power BI.
3. Being able to rename these labels or not, themselves despite it being read on the service. (I was thinking of going through Power apps. but not sure that it works unless the user, once he has finished renaming his data by another field called alias for example, can then choose this data to display in the graph ).
4. To be able to add or not an additional level which would put a color by type of point. In power BI the color is only for the selected legend. Here the idea is to have another additional reading axis in addition to the split by point (label/legend) to have a different color for this data.
5. Whether or not to add an additional level with another piece of data which will create a different shape for each type of data selected.
6. Whether or not to add an additional level of granularity on the X axis.
7. Be able to add or not a line on the X axis and or not a line on the Y axis with a value for each of the lines that they themselves can indicate (for example he wants to be able to put a value of 100 for the X line and 50 For).
8. Whether or not to add an additional level of analysis with other additional data that would or would not create a trellis. A multiple graph.
It is not a simple development. But it's essential if we want to have technical teams doing research. It is therefore crucial for Power BI.
If you manage to create this for me, I will call you superman all my life 🙂
