Single link color (Force Direct Graph)

Hi!
I'm currently trying to develop some new custom features on this visual, but i've encountered many problems. The documentation that i've found didn't help me that well for my purpose which is to retrieve a list of links and then be able to give them a specific color for each one of the links. I'm still having many other problems. Do you have any suggestions?
Basically what i want is a legend where i can give the color for the single node or link.

If you have any documentation, github repo, online courses that can teach me how to develop and customize a Visual it would be great!

This is the base code that i've used. I've tried with the code from main(API 2.3.0) and from dev(API 5.10.0) but without any result

Thanks in advance!

Microsoft's answer:
Please use the "dev" branch as a reference for now, soon it will be merged in to "main" branch, since we are going to publish a new version oof this visual.

Regarding the custom visual development documentation, here is the link. It explains from basics themes to a specific articles explaining some features or API implementation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/

Are you familiar enough with TS to see what the visual is doing?
