When using live connection to SSAS, the visual won't work properly when accesed with different language installations of power BI Desktop or by users using different languages in Power BI service.
This is because column mapping is different for multiple languages because SSAS names for KPIs (Goal, status) changes. Configuration for column mapping should be set in a way it is language independent.
We have used the same KPI matrix to display two KPIs. One mapping was set in a spanish Power BI Desktop and the other in the english version.
"Margen Bruto" was set from the spanish version
"Eficiencia" was set from the english version
Spanish (left) vs English (right)
Spanish Power BI Desktop
English Power BI Desktop
If you open the column mapping from the other version the values for the mappings are lost, because they no longer match. Here the spanish version is looking for "KPI - Eficiencia Status" as set from the english PowerBI Desktop.

Note that KPI Indicator Value is not lost because it is the same name.
The bug also happens in Power BI Service.

Tested with Power BI Desktop app (from Windows store, sept 2018) and Power PI Desktop (may 2018, aug 2018, sept 2018). Power KPI Matrix 2.1.4 (6/6/2018, last version available)
Thank you for your time
Thanks for reporting this issue. We'll investigate how to support all of languages.
