Matrix visual

I am trying to pull in the count of items from two separtate tabels by branch and by user. The relationship is shared in both and pulled in successfully on the matrix by user. However, when I add the second value to pull by branch, the values are skewed. I then, want to use the Map visual to show branches amounts by state. This visual is only pully one location when clicking on the state instead of all associated. I have added the geo details for the city, state, and postal codes and these are also shared both directions with the reports. Any assistance on resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated!
