Is there a way to use power bi data set directly in to UI web app?

Embedding a report is one way of integrating power bi report in ui but my requirement is to use power bi data set directly in web ui.. 

Its similar to how an UI component will get data from REST API , im looking for power bi data set directly interacing with ui components

You can (ab)use the Dataset ExecuteQueries  REST API call as a sort of microservice. You'll need to register an app for it though to handle the authentication.

Warning: This will not be fast. Your users will not be impressed with the performance.
