Hi @manishcal116,

HTML Content (and all custom visuals) act upon data changes relayed by the main Power BI window. In the event of query/resource issues (typically resulting in a visual with a grey background and details of the error), this is managed by Power BI and happens before the visual logic is triggered. In such a scenario, Power BI  sends no further information to the visual for it to execute any logic, so it would not be possible to intercept or override the message in HTML Content. If this is the case, this would be an idea request for MS and the core product to allow you to customize the error output for a visual.

Regards,

Daniel
