Filtering on data points across different visuals doesn't work in case of filled map visual

If a select a data point on a filled map (for example a state(Texas)) then try to filter on a data point in a table visual the filter doesnt get carried over with (ctrl, click). This only happens with filled map visual. All other visuals work as expected and I can filter on multiple datapoints across visulas. But only in case of filled map it doesnt work.
