Need a custom visual which accepts two seperate list of comma seperated words as user input to include and exclude the keywords mentioned by user from dashboard.
For e.g.
I have list of people with their name gender and places they have visited in last 1 year:
List of people with their gender and places visited in last 1 year |
Jhonny, Male, Dubai, Delhi, Bangalore, Singapore, Jakarta |
Adam, Male, Newyork, London, Chicago |
Judith, Female, Amsterdam, Dubai, Singapore, Sydney |
Emily, Female, Chicago, Paris, Rome, Dubai |
John, Male, Los Angeles, Vancouver, London, Dubai |
Jessica, Female, Madrid, London, Berlin, Dubai, Singapore |
I want to do a search of people who have visited "Singapore" and "Dubai" but want to exclude all male and people who have visited sydney so user input is like this:
Include words |
Singapore, Dubai |
Exclude Words |
Male, Sydney |
Hence my result on dashboard will be:
Result: |
Jessica, Female, Madrid, London, Berlin, Dubai, Singapore |
Note: The number of include and exclude words can be more then two words. Can someone please suggest if we have any such visual or is it possible through DAX.
You will have to write your own custom visual for that. Remember though that custom visuals are not able to parse the dataset, they can only work on the fields/columns they are provided.
