Custom theme for Button

I was working on a custom theme for buttons. But the code below does not have any effect on the report.

"fill": [ { "show":true }, { "$id": "default", "transparency": 0, "fillColor": {"solid":{"color":"#808080"}} } ],

Please help me with this.
