I have a request to enable the ability to enter a new Task (Action Item) in a Teams Planner while reviewing a Metric Scorecard during leadership meeting.
If I create a PowerBi Dashboard with the Metric Visual displaying the scorecard and have a "button" that says "ACTION ITEMS" somewhere on the dashboard, is it possible to program a button to open a specific Microsoft Planner?
I am sure I could set up a trigger in PowerAutomate to auto create action items in a planner, but not every trigger needs to create a follow-up action. The leadership team follows a decision tree to determine which items need official task for follow-up.
Thanks for any assistance!

Hey @Anonymous ,
I would think that easiest way to do this would be to have the available URL's to the Planner(s) that you have in your query and then have the action item button open the appropriate link. The link could be selected based upon the other criteria for the visuals pointing to that information. Or, you could just put the link in the row displaying the data.
