Can we Add/Remove fields from selected data source dynamically in custom visual script ?

I am a power BI custom visual developer. I have defined two data roles (sections) in capabilities.json of my custom visual.

So below is my question:

Can we Add/Remove fields dynamically from custom visual script into the defined data roles/sections (Category Data and Drilling Data) in below image ? If yes, please guide how can I get this behaiour ?
