Best way of importing PBI VIZ files

Hi all

I've developed custom visuals for my company and trying to identify the best way of providing these visuals.

It seems that custom visuals accessed through 'organisation visuals' do not work through PowerPoint, but if I provide the actual files to my colleagues they can import them into PBI desktop, and they work fine in PowerPoint. Is this how everyone does it to ensure compatibility with Power Point?
